All the Premier League big boys are scrambling to make more from fans

This is an eye-opening piece about how much clubs earn from each fan on matchday, made even more so by the comparison with ten years ago. The impact of FSG at Liverpool is witnessed by a massive increase of 63% so much that they’re now third in this list. Impressively, Tottenham are just behind them, making £1,506 from each fan despite their relative lack of success. Indeed, London clubs take three of the top four spots (Chelsea lead Arsenal in 1st & 2nd). The bottom line, however, is that clubs make a LOT of money from fans which raises the question over why they’re often not treated better.

How to take the perfect penalty
