Cultured Football's Gift Guide 2025: Stocking Fillers
Gifts for those on a budget
Every week I get to share the best football writing I can find, but December always feels a little different, and it feels like the right moment to do something extra. So, just like last year, I’m putting together a small gift guide; simply a collection of things I genuinely like, would happily receive myself.
I’m starting with the simplest joy of all: stocking fillers. Little things that make football fans smile, that spark memories, that feel personal without trying too hard.
Consider this the first step in our December gift guide, which will run each day for the first five days of the month, and a way of saying thank you for being part of Cultured Football throughout the year.
Football Themed Air Fresheners
This collection by Footy Fresh brings a clever and spirited twist to car-interiors by combining high-energy football culture with everyday practicality. Each air freshener features iconic players, legendary teams or national sides pairing bold visuals with a fresh scent to turn your commute into a mini-matchday experience (well, sort of). Love them.
Classic Liverpool Home Shirt Mug Collection
This collection of mugs marries fandom and nostalgia beautifully with each piece features an iconic Liverpool home-shirt design from a memorable era, turning a simple tea or coffee break into a tribute to “The Reds” rich heritage. With bold artwork capturing legendary kits such as the 1979-82 and 2005 editions, these mugs are ideal for Kopites who love to sip in style while honouring their team’s past glories. This one with the infamous ‘bird-sh*t’ design of the late 80s-early 90s is my favourite.
If you want similar-ish designs of other clubs, Football Devotion have a large selection.
Shukyu x J.League Tote Bag
This oversized, thick-cotton tote bag celebrates the 30th anniversary of Japan’s J League with style and substance. The all-over print features the league’s iconic symbol mark - designed by art-director Takuya Onuki and in continuous use since the league’s opening in 1993 - making the design as much a statement of football heritage as it is a functional accessory. Blending everyday utility with football culture flair this is perfect for carrying matchday essentials, laptop and notebooks, or simply showing your love for the beautiful game while doing errands. Frankly, it looks really cool.
Classic Kit Coasters
These coasters from Football Devotion are a perfect blend of football fan-culture and functional tabletop style. Each one features a crisp print of a retro football shirt letting you show off your club allegiance even in the quieter moments of a match day at home. For some reasons, I am always particularly attracted to those featuring Italian club shirts from the 90s, such as the Milan one above.
Football Icon Pin Badges
I included football pins last year so thought of giving them a miss. That, however, was before I came across this series that features famous football players with which I’ve fallen in love. If anyone in my family reads this, I’d love that one of Ronaldo at PSV. And Salah. And that Klopp one looks lovely too.
Disclaimer: we don’t earn anything from any of the links or purchases in this guide, and we haven’t personally tried every single item included. These are simply things we genuinely like the look of and wanted to share. As always, treat this as a starting point: explore, compare, and do your own research to make sure they’re right for you.
Each week on Cultured Football we pick the five football stories from the previous seven days that we most enjoyed reading. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, you’re in the right place!
