Cultured Football's Gift Guide 2025: Memorabilia
Beautiful football objects
Every week I get to share the best football writing I can find, but December always feels a little different, and it feels like the right moment to do something extra. So, just like last year, I’m putting together a small gift guide; simply a collection of things I genuinely like, would happily receive myself.
Today’s instalment features the kind of football things that surprise you; pieces made with real craft, care, and imagination. Think of this as a small celebration of the creativity that surrounds football.
And, as always, this gift guide is a way of saying thank you for being part of Cultured Football throughout the year.
Model Turnstiles
From the Model Turnstiles Co
These miniature turnstiles are built with precision and passion, faithfully capturing iconic architectural details of stadiums from around the world. Whether you want a full stand, a specific turnstile or gate entrance, or a smaller-scale display model, each piece is custom-made, allowing you to choose the ground and size with the artisans bring your vision to life. It’s genuinely stunning, the kind of craftsmanship that makes you smile because you can tell how much love and detail went into it.
Custom Made Bucket Hats
From Footy Buckets
Footy Buckets turns old football shirts into something completely unexpected: soft, colourful bucket hats, boonie hats and bags, each one stitched from kits that once carried their own stories. The end result is something familiar but, at the same time, completely original. There’s also something oddly soothing about watching their process: I’ve spent hours on their Instagram seeing forgotten shirts transformed, panel by panel, into hats that somehow keep the spirit of the original garment alive.
Team BRXLZ 3D Football Stadium
I have a bit of a problem: my kids are getting older so it is harder to explain / justify purchases of complex (and expensive) lego kits as being “for the kids”. So, I guess that I’d better order any of these sets before that time window shuts once and for all. Sadly, Lego don’t do football stadia so these are the best alternative. Be warned, though: BRXLZ bricks are much smaller (around 4mm) and have a more fragile, single-layer build process that requires more patience.
Mystery Shirt in a Box
Later this week there will be a whole gift guide dedicated to the best kits worth checking out. But, this is a bit different in that you don’t actually know what shirt you’re going to be receiving. Every month brings you receive a package with a new surprise of a different club, a fresh design, and another story to add to your collection.

Disclaimer: we don’t earn anything from any of the links or purchases in this guide, and we haven’t personally tried every single item included. These are simply things we genuinely like the look of and wanted to share. As always, treat this as a starting point: explore, compare, and do your own research to make sure they’re right for you.
Each week on Cultured Football we pick the five football stories from the previous seven days that we most enjoyed reading. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, you’re in the right place!

Biggest shame about Football Turnstile Co is that they copied another person's idea, lowballed the price, and doesn't even come close to the same level quality.
